Margaret Guay is a Shintaido Instructor on the East Coast of the US and has taught in Europe at the Semi-International Gasshuku in 2019. She is also a teacher of Body-Mind Centering®, an integrated and embodied approach to movement, the body and consciousness, developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. The 2022 lecture will take the form of an illustrated and somatic conversation between Margaret, Peter Furtado and Ula Chambers. Margaret will guide us to look at Shintaido movements and ideals through the prism of Body-Mind Centering®, and reflect on what we can discover about “The Body is a Message of the Universe”.
The lecture will last approximately 45 minutes followed by a questions and answers.
